This Week on Subliminal Matters

So I hope you're excited to see what I've been up to while I've been away. I have some fun ads to share but I must say to every single visitor thanks for coming back. SM is about to hit 5,000 visitors and I think that most certainly is a milestone. Thanks for the emails and I even had a few comments while I was away which was pretty cool. Although I haven't been posting I've most certainly been collecting and I am buzzing with excitement to share, hope you enjoy!

Julia Gillard Facing Kevin Rudd Take Over

Quote:
"I like Kevin Rudd because he's pretty honest. He's not as much of a liar as she is"

Subliminal Matters:
factions in the Labour Party want Kevin Rudd back as leader; public perception of Julia was low when she replaced Rudd, there's a certain degree of distrust for Julia Gillard in Labour supporters.

Ad review: While this may not be the conventional advertisement, in that it's a comic, I still list it as an advertisement because of the illustration technique required to produce these. I probably won't be using these much but when and if I come across prize ones I'll be sharing them here.

As the subliminal matters listed above highlight, the current Prime Minister of Australia has some serious trust issues going on with
her public. The illustration itself presents the issue as Julia having an inherent disconnect with the electorate. She has been getting a lot of bad press lately with Kevin Rudd aiming to return as leader. I have to wonder how much of the hard time she's getting has to do with her feminine nature. Without the trust of the people though, I foresee an uphill climb ahead.
